There are many methods for stop smoking: laser therapy, nicotine gums and patches, “cold turkey”, acupuncture. All of them work for some people, but none of this methods changes the habit of smoking on a subconscious level. Do you know that all our habits live in subconscious mind? I am sure you know. If not, I can prove it easily. Have you ever been moving from one apartment to another? Every nigh you are automatically turning off the light but can’t find the switch, because in a new room the switch is located on the different wall. Or if you had a long hair for years and you shaved it off, you still instinctively fixing your hair that was gone.
Your subconscious mind helps you do your routine on “autopilot” mode because it saves your mental energy. That’s why when you work first day of your new job, everything is complicated and not easy, you control yourself with your willpower and getting tired very soon. After a couple of days things are getting lighter and you start working more effortlessly than before, you developed a new habit. So subconscious mind is always helping you do your work easily and effectively.
Only one problem: your subconscious doesn’t know what is good for you and what is bad for you blindly protecting its for you. That’s why if you stopped smoking with any other method but hypnosis, your subconscious still holds your habit of smoking. Let’s come back to the habit. of smoking. All habits can be changed or replaced with new ones through hypnosis. Thus habit of smoking can be changed or replaced with a new habit through hypnosis as well. The new habits can be healthy style of living, yoga, sports, healthy food, better job, more years of good life, and many other great achievements. It is like you will become addicted to a healthy style of living instead of being addicted to nicotine.
I used to smoke 2 packs a day, but I successfully have quit smoking 22 years ago with self-hypnosis. I know how painful cigarettes craving can be, I developed my own easy method for craving elimination. Now you see that hypnosis helps to stop smoking indeed.
